Carer/Support Worker

If you pride yourself on providing the highest level of customer service to people who need support at home, then this role could be perfect for you! We’re looking for people who are passionate about providing individualised, high-quality care to our clients, who include both Aged Care recipients and NDIS participants. 

About you: You’re professional, enthusiastic, and punctual. You’re a good communicator who can connect with a variety of different people, including both clients and family members. You’re self-motivated and work well independently. 

You must have your own clean, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance. 

About the job: You’ll be assigned to clients within a set region, and you’ll travel to clients’ private homes to provide support.

Tasks include: 

  • Provide support for personal hygiene including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing 
  • Shop and prepare meals 
  • Light housekeeping, including monitoring for environmental safety concerns 
  • Monitor daily medications 
  • Provide transportation to shops, social outings, and medical appointments as needed 
  • Provide social support through social activities such as games, conversation, and reading

Required Certifications: 

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or higher (focus in Aged Care or Disability) 
  • Current First Aid and CPR 
  • National Police Clearance Certificate 
  • Australian Driver’s License

Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse, you provide an essential role in our team by overseeing care workers and providing both case management and direct nursing care. The RN works both collaboratively and autonomously to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of evidence-based nursing care. 

About you: You are a Registered Nurse with experience in community nursing. You’re able to work independently and to supervise a team of care workers. You’re passionate about providing high-quality care to elders and people with disabilities. 

About the job: You’ll be assigned to clients within a set region, and you’ll oversee case management and care plans as well as traveling to client homes to provide direct nursing care.

Tasks include: 

  • Assess client needs 
  • Work collaborative with client and case manager to create care plans 
  • Ensure that nursing care provided meets criteria for Aged Care/NDIS guidelines  
  • Visit client homes to provide clinical care, including wound care, ostomy care, IV therapy, pain management, and other nursing services 
  • Oversee client medications 
  • Delegate nursing tasks to care workers as appropriate 
  • Document clinical care using our in-house management system

Required certifications: 

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse 
  • National Police Clearance Certificate 
  • Australian Driver’s License

Enrolled Nurse Jobs

Enrolled Nurse

As an Enrolled Nurse, you’ll support our clients with nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Working in home care and disability support gives you the opportunity to work independently while you provide nursing care within your scope. You’ll be able to build long-term relationships and rapport with clients and work on a flexible schedule. 

About you: You have at least six months of experience as an Enrolled Nurse. You’re a strong communicator and provide excellent customer service. You’re reliable and punctual, and you’re able to provide skilled nursing care independently with minimal supervision. 

You must have your own clean, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance. 

About the job: You’ll be assigned to clients within a set region, and you’ll travel to their homes to provide skilled nursing care within your scope. Although you’ll be supervised by a Registered Nurse, you will perform services independently.

Tasks include:  

  • Regularly re-assess client well-being and recommend about care enhancements as needed 
  • Work collaboratively with client, Registered Nurse and Care Manager to create care plans 
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound management, continence management, diabetes management, and medication management (as qualified) 
  • Assist with personal care needs, including hygiene care and eating support 
  • Document clinical care using our in-house management system

Required Certifications: 

  • AHPRA Enrolled Nurse 
  • National Police Clearance Certificate 
  • Australian Driver’s License 

Preferred Certifications: 

  • Medication Administration Certification

Care Manager Job

Care Manager

As a Care Manager, you’ll oversee our team of support workers and nurses to ensure we provide the highest quality of care to clients. This experienced, supervisory role will give you the opportunity to collaborate with the executive team of a fast-growing Home Care and NDIS provider agency and to ensure our clients receive the best care and support. Our innovative, custom software enables us to provide care management with minimal administrative costs, which means we can focus on offering the highest quality of client service and care. 

About you: You have at least five years of experience in either the Aged Care or NDIS sector and you are passionate about customer service.  You have proven knowledge of Home Care Package or NDIS compliance and implementation in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards or NDIS Practice Standards. You want to be part of a collaborative team that’s disrupting the care industry with innovative, streamlined solutions to prioritise the well-being of our clients. 

About the job: You’ll manage a team of nurses and support workers to provide personal and clinical care to clients in both Aged Care and NDIS services. You’ll ensure compliance with industry standards and leverage our innovative systems to ensure each client is provided with all the necessary resources to meet their care needs. You’ll meet with prospective clients to discuss the benefits of joining the CareSide.

Tasks include: 

  • Act as an ambassador for the CareSide when meeting prospective clients
  • Act as key contact for clients 
  • Manage client services delivery under Home Care Packages or NDIS services 
  • Work collaboratively with schedulers, clinical team, and support staff to provide appropriate care 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
