What Others Are Saying
Still Have Questions?
No, you are not locked into a contract.
We are a flexible service that offers as much as or as little care as you like, on any days and at any times that you choose.
We do ask you to sign an agreement that describes how we will deliver your service. This is legally required by The Aged Care Act.
You may cancel your agreement at any time without a penalty.
Given sufficient notice, it can be scheduled for your preferred carer to be available.
If this is not possible, another qualified carer will be arranged to assist you, as long as you approve them.
Each individual case is unique, as costs depend on the services you need, income-tested fees, and other factors.
During your free care assessment and consultation, your Care Manager will develop an individualised Care Plan with you and provide you with a budget for required services.
Yes, each care visit will be a minimum of 2 hours. This is in fairness to our carers, as their Industrial Award requires them to have minimum shift lengths of 2 hours.
However, if your carer agrees to do shorter shifts, that can be arranged for you.
No, your standard service charges already include any necessary travel costs.
One of our Care Managers or Registered Nurses will discuss with you:
- Your individual care needs
- Your lifestyle goals
- A home safety risk assessment
- Advice on how to best live independently
- A personal Health Care Plan that our carers will follow during each visit
That is always the goal—it is important that you like your carer and establish a trusting rapport with them.
We will typically send your preferred carer, but sometimes your carer may not be available due to sickness or personal leave arrangements. In those cases, we will only make a substitution if you agree to it.
